Which account is used?

The connector uses the Mittalmar account you choose during browser sign-in. It can work only with customer data owned by that signed-in account and requires an eligible subscription. Customer access is checked against current billing records on each request; a cancelled subscription remains eligible only until its paid access ends.

How is work scoped?

Projects and thumbnail generations remain scoped to the signed-in customer. The connector does not ask you to choose another customer or provide a user ID.

Thumbnail reference images must be your uploaded or generated Mittalmar images. Arbitrary external image URLs are not accepted for generation.

What am I approving?

During connection, your browser shows that your AI client wants to access Mittalmar on your behalf. Review the client name and destination, then allow access only if you initiated the connection and trust that client.

What does linking a Project allow?

You approve one Project for completed idea and title saves for 24 hours, plus Script stages when you enable Script saving. Subsequent saves within that scope do not need another Mittalmar confirmation. The link cannot delete work, start generation, or save to a different Project. Your client’s own write permissions still apply.

Ask your assistant to stop syncing the Project to revoke that session immediately. Saved drafts remain in Mittalmar. Once stopped or expired, saving requires a newly confirmed link.

Saving a new research document requires its own confirmation. Research reading, writing instructions and saving your client’s text do not use Mittalmar AI budget.

What does research change?

Stored-source searches, descriptive analytics and saved collection-analysis reads are account-scoped reads and use no Mittalmar AI budget. Tracked sources contain your explicitly tracked competitors; the connected channel is excluded from that scope.

Topic-research workflows are saved account-owned snapshots. Starting, refining, retrying and cancelling a workflow change saved data without a separate Mittalmar confirmation challenge. Your client may apply its own write approval. Automatic topic research discovers sources and uses included AI allowance within one bounded job cap. Research runs once by default. Daily selected-topic refreshes require your explicit opt-in and available allowance; disable them by refining with autoRefresh set to false. Reading progress or acquired passages uses no additional allowance; usage already incurred remains recorded after cancellation.

Collection classification is a separate explicit operation. Confirm a report and its capped run to receive a scoped continuation receipt; subsequent bounded processing steps can reuse that approval until it expires. Without a valid receipt, processing requires confirmation. Retrying requires a new approval. Processing steps may use AI budget within the report’s original cap and your remaining account budget. A read never silently starts this paid work.

How do I remove access?

Open your AI client’s MCP or connector settings and disconnect or remove Mittalmar. If you reconnect later, you will be asked to sign in and approve access again.
